First day at the new job tomorrow. I _think_ I'm all ready. Must sleep now.
-
One week after the move, we are quite happy, although we were down with a bad cold most of the week…
-
Awake. Bring it on.

-
@vkoser I'm on Mexico time, I think it's GMT-6
-
Got properly started at the new job today. Got my machine configured, met a bunch of people, had a good discussion about my roles, felt good
-
On the other hand, we are all still sick with a nasty flu we got on arrival (_not_ AH1N1, but still quite bad).
-
@doctorlinguist If you have $1,550,000 for the car, you don't worry about the speed fines. Heck, you can build your own track :-)
-
Having to use Windows at work now (sigh)... what is a good Twitter client for Windows? #lazytweet
-
OK - Twitter and iTunes are now setup on my new PC. Feeling a bit more at home. Windows is such an alien environment for me.
-
@segdeha Control/Navigation/Admin bar/panel?
-
Using the Mac at home at the end of the day is like surfacing after holding my breath for 8 hours in Windows world. Will I get used to it?
-
1Password, Tweetie, Mail.app, how I miss you so #macsnobbery
-
@doctorlinguist Well, that's something I miss too when I have to use Windows. A real shell on a real terminal.
-
I see Twitter has been busy adding new features to the web interface. Nice.
-
Crap. I planned to work at home tomorrow, and just realized I forgot my laptop's power supply in the office. Damn damn damn.
-
Google Street View in Mexico City? Awesome.
-
Wow, and they really seem to have most of the city in street view. I wonder how long that took.
-
I lived for a while in this house. It's now some sort of prostrate/diabetes clinic. How strange. http://bit.ly/4ywddb

This is where I work these days: http://bit.ly/1EG9N
-
@funkatron I swear I had nothing to do with it :-)
-
@sergio_avila No por el momento, estoy en el D.F.
-
Trabajando hoy desde casa para evitar el caos vial que va a ser hoy el D.F.
-
Focus time. See you later twitter.
-
@stevelodin yup. Welcome to Mexico city.
-
With cygwin and a good set of packages installed, Windows is almost passable. At least I can use bash on rxvt now!
-
@Shrdlu Wow, sounds just like what my youngest had. And gave to me. I still have a cough that won't go away.
-
@vkoser I prefer rxvt + bash + real ssh with all the command line options :-)
-
And it even comes with a native version of rxvt, so I didn't have to install X first.
-
Any _nice_ Twitter clients for Windows? I'm thinking something like Tweetie, or even Twitterrific. TweetDeck is nice, but feels kludgy
-
@wimremes It is - trying it out now, looks nice
-
@vkoser I tried, but download gives me a mahtweets.application file which gives an error when I run it.
-
@chevalier_noir Digsby looks nice, but download is broken :-(
-
@digsby Thanks! Downloading now. Will give it a good try.
-
Using Digsby to manage IM, Email, and Twitter from one application - http://twitter.digsby.com
-
@aeoth I get dialog that says "Cannot continue. The application is improperly formatted. Contact the app vendor for assistance"
-
@aeoth I can email you the details log if you want. Installing on a plain Vista system.
-
@aeoth Shows I have .net 3.0. Installing 3.5 now, I'll try again afterwards.
-
@aeoth It installed OK with .net 3.5. Seems to work fine, looks very nice.

I've been using CmapTools for the first time for doing some brainstorming. It is actually pretty cool, I wish it had more keyboard shortcuts
