  7. On the other hand, we are all still sick with a nasty flu we got on arrival (_not_ AH1N1, but still quite bad).

@doctorlinguist If you have $1,550,000 for the car, you don't worry about the speed fines. Heck, you can build your own track :-)
  9. Having to use Windows at work now (sigh)... what is a good Twitter client for Windows? #lazytweet
  10. OK - Twitter and iTunes are now setup on my new PC. Feeling a bit more at home. Windows is such an alien environment for me.
  11. …in reply to @segdeha
    @segdeha Control/Navigation/Admin bar/panel?
  12. Using the Mac at home at the end of the day is like surfacing after holding my breath for 8 hours in Windows world. Will I get used to it?

  14. …in reply to @undefined
@doctorlinguist Well, that's something I miss too when I have to use Windows. A real shell on a real terminal.
  15. I see Twitter has been busy adding new features to the web interface. Nice.
  16. Crap. I planned to work at home tomorrow, and just realized I forgot my laptop's power supply in the office. Damn damn damn.
  17. Google Street View in Mexico City? Awesome.
  18. Wow, and they really seem to have most of the city in street view. I wonder how long that took.
  19. I lived for a while in this house. It's now some sort of prostrate/diabetes clinic. How strange. http://bit.ly/4ywddb

  26. With cygwin and a good set of packages installed, Windows is almost passable. At least I can use bash on rxvt now!
  27. …in reply to @undefined
@Shrdlu Wow, sounds just like what my youngest had. And gave to me. I still have a cough that won't go away.
  28. …in reply to @undefined
@vkoser I prefer rxvt + bash + real ssh with all the command line options :-)
  29. And it even comes with a native version of rxvt, so I didn't have to install X first.
  30. Any _nice_ Twitter clients for Windows? I'm thinking something like Tweetie, or even Twitterrific. TweetDeck is nice, but feels kludgy

@chevalier_noir Digsby looks nice, but download is broken :-(

@digsby Thanks! Downloading now. Will give it a good try.
