Back in the mists of time, in February 2005, I introduced a category called Linky for quick links to interesting things on the web. At the time, I used WordPress “asides” and a little icon to make those posts stand out.
The name eventually gave way to zznippets, which started during my Posterous days in 2009. Now that I have a new, easy way to share links from my phone, I thought it was time to bring the old name back.
So Linky is back! Same idea as twenty-one years ago: interesting links, sometimes with a few words of commentary. The underlying technology has changed quite a bit, but the purpose hasn’t.
The old zznippets posts will keep their tag as part of my blog’s history.
