August 13th, 2007 · 6 Comments

A few people have let me know that CopperExport does not work with iPhoto 7. As soon as I can get my hands on iLife’08, I will work on fixing the problem (unfortunately, I don’t have definite plans of ordering it at the moment, so it may take a bit).
On a related note, Apple has [...]

CopperExport project updates

March 18th, 2005 · No Comments

I have actually been working on CopperExport, even though no new release has been made. I’ve been working on the “asynchronous thumbnail generation” feature, and it’s mostly working in the “async\_thumbs” branch of the Subversion repository, but there is still a crash lurking there.
In other news, I have entered many of the feature requests I [...]

CopperExport 0.2.1 – security fix

February 24th, 2005 · No Comments

It is very embarrassing, but in the patch to the xp\_publish.php file shipped with CopperExport 0.1 and 0.2, I had introduced a security vulnerability that would allow for SQL injection attacks against the gallery. I have released CopperExport 0.2.1. The plugin itself has not changed (except for some additional error reporting), but it is extremely [...]

Progress report on CopperExport 0.3

February 13th, 2005 · 1 Comment

I’ve been working on some updates for the next version of CopperExport. Here’s my current list of possible improvements:
- (partially done) Populate thumbnail list “live”, after displaying the export dialog.
- Offer some preset options for resizing (640×480, 800×600, 1024×768) (suggested by Peter Polz)
- (done) In the description of a new album, be able to enter [...]

CopperExport hosting moved to BerliOS

February 5th, 2005 · No Comments

After having used CVS for source code management for a long time, I recently started using Subversion, and like it a lot, I think I’m switching to it for good. So of course, CopperExport is kept on Subversion, and only after creating the project at Sourceforge I realized that they still do not provide Subversion [...]
